The Rules
General Rules
1. Have Fun! It's a game, let's enjoy it.
2. The decisions of the ECW Reunited Staff are final on all matters.
3. No more than two (2) wrestlers per player. If you wish to play more, you must get permission from the staff and must be able to handle the workload necessary. This means RPing for every card that each of your wrestlers are on.
4. DO NOT use the chatbox for RP. It is there for your convenience to be used for talking to other handlers and staff.
5. E-mail complaints to the ECW Reunited Staff
* DO NOT e-mail complaints just because you lost a match.
* DO NOT e-mail complaints because you are not on a PPV card.
* DO NOT e-mail complaints that you aren’t getting title shots.
* DO NOT e-mail complaints of injuries.
6. Failure to comply with the rules and decisions of the ECW-R staff may result in dismissal from the game and possible site banning.
7. Never forget that this is all about having fun. We repeat this because it is the most important rule.
Applying
1. Though we do accept Real Wrestler Applications, out of respect for the deceased, we will not be accepting applications for wrestlers that have passed on.
2. If the staff asks for a change to be made and it is not done in five (5) days, then the application may be removed. This applies especially in the case of Real Wrestlers.
3. If a Real Wrestler is not on the "Available Wrestlers" list, please get permission from the staff BEFORE applying as that wrestler.
4. Do not use links! We would prefer pics and RPs were posted, rather then linked. If you are applying as a Real Wrestler, please post an original RP involving that Wrestler.
Posting
1. No racial or ethnic attacks, this will also include those of sexual orientation as well. This also includes the Chatbox and Out of Character area.
2. Do not use any wrestler or staff member, other than your own, in ANY WAY without permission from the Staff or without the permission of the player in question. This is your only warning.
3. Stay in character on the role-play board at all times. There are sections for out of character discussion in reference to the game and the real world.
4. Don't attack someone's grammar or spelling at all, these things are taken into consideration when post ratings are tallied. No harassment of any kind will be permitted.
5. Please be mindful of the content you are posting. Though this is the ECW and we are all about Extreme, we ask that certain explicit content be kept to a minimum. Anything considered inappropriate by the staff may be edited or deleted.
6. You may not use a thread from the General Roleplays area as your Match RP. The RP you submit for your match must be uniquely written by you. If you need to use another character, get their permission first. If you wish for them to give you feedback on your post, they can do that, but you are responsible for your own posts.
7. The TBC rule. TBC stands for "To Be Continued". This is a way to show if and who you want to respond to your post. In the General Roleplays area of the board, you'll see this quite a bit. When a post ends with "TBC: Anyone", then it is open for anyone to respond. If it ends with a specific name, only that player may respond. The current "TBC status" is based off of the last response. Just because one post says "TBC: Anyone" does not mean that anyone can respond anytime. Please pay attention. Any inappropriate responses may be deleted or ignored.
The C-Box
1. No advertisements of any kind unless they relate to this game. This should be pretty straightforward.
2. No racial or ethnic attacks, this will also include those of sexual orientation as well.
3. Do not use the c-box to complain about the results of your match. Any complaints or concerns should be e-mailed to the staff. (See above)
4. Anything that the staff views as harassment can lead to punishment. It is at the staff's discretion.
5. Do not ignore or argue with the staff. At present, the staff is Calypso and Sammi. If they say to stop doing something, you stop. End of discussion.
6. Do not think that if the staff is not online, you will not get caught. We read logs and will punish retroactively.
7. No excessive cursing. (Again, staff's discretion)
8. The c-box is not a place to have an argument. If you wish to argue, do it over PM or not at all. You will be asked to stop once. If you don't, you may be punished.
9. Punishments start with a verbal warning and are followed by banning for one day, one week, one month, and finally, forever.
Inactivity
1. Failure to RP two weeks in a row will result in dismissal from the game and if you are playing a Real Wrestler, it will become available for someone else to play.
* If you are unable to “attend” (rp) a card you must inform the ECW-R Staff no less than two (2) days prior to the event you will miss.
* The staff reserves the right to strip a champion of their title if they do not RP for an event.
2. If you wish to take a leave of absence, please let the staff know as soon as possible. If you can provide a target date for a return, that would be ideal. Please stay in contact with the staff during your leave.
3. Due to the high demand to play Real Wrestlers, the staff reserves the right to remove a character from active play and make them available for application in the case of inactive players. Anyone on leave will be given plenty of notice before such an action occurs.
So there you have it. If you like what you see, please fill out the application and let the good times roll.
Thanks everyone
